I had a great time in London being a representative for Odds Shark while supplying some material that is amazing, and working. On Thursday nightI met with Joe Osborne, Andrew Avery, also known asNinja, Craig and Alec in the resort and inside one hour or two were off into the normal Liege/Arsenal soccer game.
It wasnt very simple to enter a pub nearby Arsenals stadium, although we tried to catch a drink at a pub nearby. We found out that , the bouncers had to make sure that you had a ticket to the match and you were not allowed in the bar if your seats were in the area. WOW!! ?? We chose to simply get into the scene and have a drink there, Although we capable to enter, according to the Arsenal bouncers.
The stadium was beautiful, and we all had a drink but then when the game began, we realized that the English do things that abit different than in the USA and Canada. Alcohol wasnt allowed to be consumed during the match, but at halftime in the lounges across the stadium were really giving away free beer. Yes, you heard me right they gave free tap beer which we took advantage of out!?? But the second half began beer was not permitted again to become drunk in sales and the stadium . The game was won by Arsenal 4-0 and that they scored three. We had a fun time but this was something we did not anticipate.
The following day we did a Friday Football variant of Guys&Bets where Joe and myself gave out our locks which only happened to all win (always a great thing) while I was indulged in 48-degree temperatures only cause I felt like this.
Later that afternoon we took the metro into Oxford Circus thats a gorgeous area of London where Big Ben and the jumbo Ferris wheel is, and a childs carousel in which Joe and I decided to be children at heart and snapped it just for the hell of it. We got back to the hotel where I believe the significant league baseball match since it wasnt on at any given pub so that we can watch the playoffs were streamed by us, nor was soccer to let you know.
On Saturday, we ventured into a parlor where you could wager the NFL, horses, soccer and also the lotto. I tried to bet a parlay but seemingly the ticket authors hadnt heard this phrase before and called it an accumulator. However, they couldnt get it correct so for the whole trip I moved wagerless (what were the odds on that).
Poor Ninja couldnt get lucky with his football plays but our movie producer, Craig, was on fire with his football plays. After that, as West Ham and Crystal Palace were playing with in the day we went to a pub to interview West Ham United fans. We met some characters who were nice people and fans.
Firstwe came with a superfan called. There were a few more fans we all chatted and drank with, but a candy lady who was also a superfan created the guys day and mine with her stories that are gambling that are spectacular.
This ladys name is Ruth and she was a riot, to say the least. She was went hours and a season ticket holder roundtrip to watch their home games. She then proceeded to tell me she likes to wager on blackjack blackjack, the ponies, and her dream soccer and hockey leagues. I then asked her if she had a bookie and shed made a face at me as if I asked her dumbest question ever.
Her answer wasnaturally I do and also that my nickname isTwat??along with his for her isTinkerbell because most of us understand bookies dont go by their specific names, that is gaming 101. Yes, and also to emphasise her nickname was reallyTwat. Her and I had a couple of pints and a slew of laughs — if you happen to read thisTinkerbell that I just wish to say thanks for a wonderful afternoon.
We then went into the scene where we did another live show where Joe and I chose to give more winners along with 3-1 underdog Crystal Palace angry West Ham. Following the match, we had to stop at the legendary West Ham bar and hang with all the Hammer lovers. We were hungry at this stage and no place has been open so feel it or not we settled at midnight. That is kind of sad, but it was actually our option and it hit on the spot.
Then the culmination of the trip occurred as if we moved to Tottenham Stadium to do a different Guys&Bets show before seeing the Chicago Bears (Monsters of the Midway)??carry on the (Black and Silver )??Oakland Raiders.
Joe and I both gave the below in the game that we believed we had until the Bears gave up a push, but we had a blast otherwise and still ended up moving a combined 9-3 ATS for the entire trip.
The fans in the game were in support of their teams since there were distinct and jerseys outfits galore. In addition, I need to give a shoutout to a lover of my All Odds podcast, a man by the name of Jazz who recognized me (somehow??) , called out my name and asked to get a picture which was really cool. Jazz gave us an interview in which he bet with his core (as many Bears fans do) rather than his head and lost money in an adjusted -9.5 lineup on Chicago.
We were fortunate to view one of the more interesting games of the day in an setting and it was a complete joy to share that adventure with Joe, Alec, Craig, along with Ninja.
Thanks guys and OddsShark for this opportunity, where is the next excursion men?
