Week 1 NFL Stats and Trends Betting Primer

Week 1 of the NFL season is among the most difficult weeks of the year to handicap that a lot of the data and logic used goes back to last year. Can some of the logic and data carry over into the new year? Sure, but we need to expect a fair amount of turnover because that is the standard in the NFL for year-to-year.
Besides assessing last year’s amounts for this week’s games, I pay particular attention to recent results from head-to-head matchups in divisional matches and that I particularly like to look at how teams play early in this season.
You can not really apply a great deal of’Week 1′ or’September’ tendencies to teams with head coaches along with a lot of player turnover, but I believe we will need to think about the ones for groups using thoughts coach/QB combos.
Here’s a couple’Week 1′ trends that I think are relevant to matches this week:
– The Patriots have been 13-2 SU in their last 15 Week 1 games
– The Steelers have been 1-6-1 ATS in their last eight games in Week 1
– The Saints are 0-5 ATS in their last five 1 games
– The Redskins are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 1 games
– The Seahawks are 5-1 ATS in their last six Week 1 matches in the home
– The Panthers are 4-1 ATS in their last five 1 games
– The total has gone UNDER in six of the Panthers’ past seven Week 1 games
– The Ravens have gone UNDER in four of the past five Week 1 games
It is extremely important to never make a bet entirely away trends. I view them as a beginning point to your handicap and consider real stats as more important but tendencies can be useful as they reveal a group’s history of enjoying in certain circumstances. You find numbers to encourage each side consider the logic behind the data — is it, when considering trends for a matchup.
Trends for teams such as the Patriots should be deemed as they have maintained personnel for a very long time and they have proven to be dependable in many different spots.?? However,??to get a team like the Browns that’s had a tremendous quantity of turnover over the last couple of seasons, recent historical numbers need to be taken with a grain of salt.??
As the season goes on and we have more recent statistics and tendencies pilling up, these nuggets will probably be more helpful, so be sure to check back every week. Also??be sure to track other information, such as not just — and injuries . Injuries on the offensive or defensive lines may have a large impact on a match.??
Now, what you’re all here to, trends and the best stats to get every game nowadays. Good fortune, and as always… KEEP CHASING THAT PAPER!
